If We Truly Love God

It’s so easy to say “I love God.” There is a way to determine if God is really in our lives, if we really love Him. (John 14:23).

I love this week, and am reflecting on God’s grace through Jesus Christ. I am so glad that so many Christians are doing the same.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.( Hebrews 2:9, KJV)

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that heby the grace of God

As we remember Jesus’s last week on earth:

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. Matthew 21:9, KJV.

As we die to self, we become more like Jesus. We learn about self-denial as we study the New Testament teachings. We learn that we must want to please God above all else. This is what brings meaning, happiness, and joy to life. Perhaps we can share with one another the satisfaction we have found in dying to the old self and living the new life that God gives to us when we believe.  We listen to God’s Word;  we believe His Word; we are blessed.
